What Lawn Care Is
A lawn that’s kept up the right way changes how a home or business feels from the road. We offer lawn care for residential and commercial properties across the Meigs, GA area, covering the routine work that keeps your yard looking right week to week.
Why Wright Way for Lawn Care
Lawn care is the one service on this site that depends entirely on consistency — a crew that skips a week or shows up whenever isn’t actually saving anyone time. When Stan and Dawson Wright started this business, they kept hearing the same complaint from South Georgia landowners: crews that quoted a job, promised a date, and never showed up. Wright Way was built around the opposite — if Dawson schedules your estimate or your start date, he’s there.
Who Calls Us
Our lawn care customers usually fall into a few groups:
- Homeowners who want their yard kept up but don’t have time to handle it themselves
- Property owners who travel, work long hours, or simply don’t want to mess with it
- Commercial property owners who need a clean, professional look out front
- Folks with larger yards or lots that need more equipment than the average push mower can handle
What’s Included
Lawn care can mean different things to different people. For most jobs, we cover the basics: mowing, trimming around edges and obstacles, and cleaning up after we’re done. We can also fold in other yard tasks as needed. The mix depends on what your yard looks like and what you want done.
How We Work
We come out, look at the property, and put together a plan. From there, we set up a schedule that fits your yard and your preferences. We try to be consistent so you know what to expect every visit.
Our Lawn Care Process
Step 1 — Free Property Walk. Dawson looks at your yard, identifies the grass type — Bermuda, centipede, and zoysia are the most common in South Georgia — and flags any trouble spots before setting a schedule.
Step 2 — Mowing Plan. A cutting height and schedule get set based on your grass type; most South Georgia lawns need weekly mowing in the growing season and every other week in cooler months.
Step 3 — Mow, Trim & Edge. Each visit includes mowing at the correct height, trimming around obstacles and edges, and blowing off walkways and drives.
Step 4 — Cleanup. Clippings and debris are cleared so the property looks finished, not just mowed.
Step 5 — Ongoing Check-Ins. We flag bare spots, drainage issues, or anything else worth mentioning, even when it’s outside the scope of routine mowing.
Serving Meigs and the Surrounding Area for Lawn Care
We handle lawn care across the Meigs area and out to Camilla, Cairo, Moultrie, and Thomasville. We know how South Georgia grass grows — fast, especially in the warm months — and we plan around it.
Wright Way Land Management is based in Meigs and handles lawn care across South Georgia, including Camilla, Pelham, and Cairo to the west, Boston and Coolidge to the south, Moultrie and Norman Park to the east, and Thomasville, Doerun, Climax, Ochlocknee, and Barwick throughout the rest of the surrounding area. South Georgia’s long growing season keeps warm-season grasses like Bermuda, centipede, and zoysia growing fast from spring through early fall, which is why weekly mowing matters more here than it does farther north. We set cutting height and frequency to whichever grass type your yard actually has, rather than mowing every lawn the same way.

According to UGA Cooperative Extension’s guide to lawns in Georgia, warm-season grasses like Bermuda, centipede, and zoysia each have different ideal mowing heights, and cutting too short or too infrequently stresses the lawn instead of helping it UGA Extension — Lawns in Georgia.
Services That Pair Well With Lawn Care
Lawn care often comes together with:
- Yard Work — for cleanups, debris removal, and the bigger outdoor tasks.
- Stump Removal — getting stumps out of the yard makes routine mowing easier.
Lawn Care Cost FAQ
How much does lawn care cost in Meigs, GA?
Typical residential lawn mowing in South Georgia and West Georgia markets runs roughly $30–$60 per visit for a standard lot, with larger lots or more involved yards running higher. These are general regional market figures, not a Wright Way quote — lot size, terrain, and how overgrown a yard is when we start all affect the price, which is why we give a free estimate before setting a schedule.
